Global Warming

So, have you ever heard that ice has been melting because of the high temperature of earth? And narrow islands or cities on shore like Bahrain or Al-Sharqiyah would be covered by water after 30 years? Those are the effects of global warming.

What is global warming?
It's the increase in the average temperature of Earth, with the increase of carbon dioxide and some other gases that warm the earth's temperature.

What are the causes of it?
It's because of emission of carbon dioxide. And that comes from those reasons:
1- Natural pollutions as in volcanoes and forest fires that the sun causes them.
2- Human actions as in gasses from factories, cutting woods, and removal of forests.
And between this and that, there are some scientists that believe it's a geographical thing.  And it's a circle of high and low temperature that comes naturally in periods which causes the global warming.

What are the solutions for the global warming?
The scientists believe that they have to save the large amount of money that has been distributed for discovering what the actual cause of global warming is, and try to decrease the amount of carbon dioxide on earth.
So how can we decrease the amount of carbon dioxide and help the world?
For example:
By using alternative fuel.
From fast growing plants, or agricultural wastes. Those are cleaner and more modern than using Oil and Gas.
Recycling
By recycling you are reusing useful materials and turn them to plastic and paper products. So, there is no need to make a new product and burn used products.

I talked about recycling in a presentation before, and I brought this fabric bag as an example of what they can do to help environment. You basically can use those kinds of bags for shopping for clothes for example, or for groceries.

For conclusion, normal citizens would help as much as they can by recycling and using alternative fuel. But the major work is on factories and governments to step up and prevent bad things that are happening right now which effect the environment.
